Job Description – Alternative Provision SEMH Support and Data Analyst

Interview Date: ASAP

Salary: To be discussed during interview process and dependant on experience (part time role)

Start Date: 1st September 2025 (Term Time Only)

The successful candidate must enjoy working with children who have a varying level of social and emotional needs and be devoted to building a nurturing and safe learning environment. To excel in this role, you must demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as a knowledge of EHCP’s.

Duties to include but are not limited to the following:

  • To implement a new tracking system to ensure that each student gets the tailored support they need based on EHCP outcomes;
  • To track students progress to ensure it is more visible and manageable;
  • To handle the day-to-day tracking of SEMH and reporting to SLT;
  • To support SLT reviewing EHCP targets.

Requirements:

  • Maths and English GCSE or equivalent qualification.
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience as a teaching assistant or similar role.
  • Solid understanding of classroom activities and teaching best practices.
  • Must have a compassionate and positive attitude.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • An understanding of medical diagnosis such as ADHD, ASD, PDA  
  • Outstanding interpersonal and presentation abilities.
  • A knowledge of Boxhall Profile or similar tracking systems.
  • A knowledge of EHCPs is essential.
