Safeguarding

Keeping children safe at Blue Sky Learning is not only part of our culture but an utmost priority.

The safety of the pupils and the families we work with are a priority to us all – IT IS EVERYONE’S RESPONSIBILITY.

The Head Teacher, Mrs Burridge oversees all safeguarding concerns. Mrs Emme Farr and Mrs Louiza Bruce, are the Designated Safeguarding Leads (DSL) at Blue Sky Learning. Any concerns in provision are reported to them.

Due to the vulnerable nature of our children and their difficulties and some challenges with communicating, it is not uncommon for a member of the safeguarding team to follow up a potential concern with parents – often to simply clarify what a child may have communicated to someone. This is their legal responsibility and we appreciate your understanding that your child’s wellbeing is of the utmost importance to us.

What to do if you have a safeguarding concern:

If you have any concerns at all, please contact a DSL or DDSL as soon as possible.

Should your concern be in respect to a member of provision staff, then contact the Head Teacher immediately.

However, if you have a concern about the Head Teacher, then please contact the DoFA at Wiltshire Council.
